We set up our stall at the Festival of Archaeology Day on Friday 19 July in the gardens of the Red House Museum. The Museum had organised a very interesting collection of exhibitors including a demonstration of finds conservation techniques, the attendance of the Finds Liaison Officers from the Portable Antiquities Scheme, and the display of a collection of local fossils from the Barton Beds. Unfortunately nobody seemed to know we were there and we welcomed very few visitors!
