The History Day organised by the Friends of St. Catherine’s Hill was blessed by fine weather apart from a light shower in the morning – a great relief to participants who remembered the downpour of two years ago. Our stall in the archaeology tent, along with the other exhibitors, attracted a steady stream of visitors throughout the day who all seemed interested in our display which focussed on our ongoing mill project at Little Millhams. We received a number of membership enquiries and we will be in touch with those who left their contact details. The photograph shows our membership secretary Adrian making a few notes in a quiet period.
