Worked Flint From the One of the Last Pits of 2015

Worked Flint

We have now stopped work at Little Millhams for the winter. Indeed, it was only the exceptionally warm and clement weather which has enable us to continue this far. In the penultimate pit of the season we came across this unusual piece of worked flint which looks like a pick head, about 15cm long, possibly of Neolithic date. It is not highly finished but sits comfortably in the hand.
